DESCRIPTION:Join Sustainable Seaside\, the City of Seaside\, and a host of community partners in celebrating Seaside’s 14th Annual Earth Day event!  Seaside Councilmember Dave Pacheco will emcee the event.  Find more details about Seaside’s Earth Day event at tinyurl.com/2025-Seaside-Earth-Day \n\nBring your old computers and printers to our E-Waste Collection booth.  Reusable items will be data-cleaned and donated to Loaves\, Fishes\, and Computers\, where they will be made available to underserved members of our community. \n \n\nIt’s happening on Sunday\, April 27\, from 1 pm to 4 pm\, on the Seaside City Hall grounds.  The afternoon will feature music by Palenke Arts Danza Mexika and The AfroCuban Drummers\, The Hovering Breadcat Duo with Derek Bodkin and Tommy Knowles\, and Community Singers led by Elizabeth Murray and Michael Eagle Song.  Children’s fun arts and crafts\, over 30 information booths\, demos\, and a free raffle for eco-friendly prizes.    \n\n\n \n \n \nTake home some organically grown tomato starts.  Several varieties have been selected for hardiness in our Seaside / Central Coast growing zone.  Suggested (optional) $2 donation per plant. \n\nBig Sur Tacos food truck will be onsite selling freshly made\, reasonably priced Mexican street food favorites\, including vegetarian options. \n
