MONTEREY COMMUNITY GARDEN
Sustainable Monterey maintains the Monterey Community Garden at 293 Van Buren Avenue in Monterey. The garden’s 21 beds are available to owners who agree to tend their plot regularly and responsibly, as well as help care for the surrounding grounds and structure.

NATIVIDAD CREEK PARK COMMUNITY GARDEN

The Natividad Creek Park Community Garden is maintained by Sustainable Salinas and Local Urban Gardeners (LUG). The garden is located in Natividad Creek Park, 395 Nogal Drive, in Salinas. It serves as a place of learning, a place to grow nutritious food, promote sustainable gardening and inspire community improvement.

OAK WOODLAND AT MARINA LIBRARY
The Oak Woodland Community Garden is maintained by Citizens for Sustainable Marina (C4SM). It’s situated inside Locke Paddon Wetland Community Park, just off Reservation Road (from Highway 1), and is adjacent to the Marina Library. Since its launch on Earth Day, 2013, the garden has become Marina’s “Central Park”. It’s now a popular recreation destination, visited daily by hundreds of visitors.
